As of now (May 2025), Avengers: Secret Wars is an upcoming Marvel Studios film, currently scheduled for release on May 1, 2027. It is expected to serve as the conclusion of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s (MCU) Multiverse Saga, following the events of Avengers: The Kang Dynasty. The film is inspired by Marvel Comics’ iconic Secret Wars storylines, particularly the 1984 and 2015 versions, both of which featured multiverse-spanning conflicts and epic battles involving nearly every major Marvel character.
General Premise (Based on Comics & MCU Build-Up):
The film is expected to follow the fallout from Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, in which Kang the Conqueror—a powerful multiversal warlord—wreaks havoc across different timelines. With the multiverse collapsing due to incursions (universes colliding), the remaining heroes and villains from various timelines and realities must band together to prevent total annihilation.
A likely central element will be Battleworld, a patchwork planet composed of fragments from destroyed realities, ruled by a powerful being—possibly a variant of Kang or even Doctor Doom (as in the 2015 comics). Heroes and villains from across the MCU multiverse are brought to this strange new world to fight for survival, dominion, or redemption.

While the full cast is unconfirmed, it’s rumored or speculated that Secret Wars could include:
